Which one represents the essence of Moonfaeryy?
Only one more day until my nice long weekend.
I was chatting with my friend Jen, she just got back Monday from a medical mission in Nigeria. It was interesting talking with her about the cultural differences. I have more to tell you about that at a later date. She also told me that things between her and Fred are not going well. She gave him a deadline for telling her if he wants a divorce or not. She doesn't, but if that is what he wants, then she will give it to him. She would really like to try to work things out, since they know what the root of their problems are. One of the biggest problems is his friends, Mike and Danielle. Actually, it's more Danielle than anything. She has carefully worked her way into his life, and manipulated him, to where she is now his best friend, and not his wife. Fred and Jen have a sailboat, and Danielle has clothes, toiletries, and the like on the boat. And even stuff for her kids, on someone else's boat. I think he will have to give up his friendship with those two if he is serious about saving his marriage. Jen has already told him that if he decides on a divorce, there is no turning back anything, all ties will be severed. He can't just call her up and want shot the shit about nothing in particular, or come over and hang out for a few hours. The only time she will talk to him would be if it involved the kids. It might sound harsh, but she can't go through this and still be friends with him, especially since she still loves him.
Yet another reason why I'm glad I'm not in a relationship!
Did I tell you my new favorite lunchtime sandwich is a BLT? I made them for dinner on Saturday night, and oh my goodness... I don't know if it was because of the fresh tomatoes, or the crisp lettuce, or the salty bacon. So every morning while I'm cooking my breakfast bacon, I will cook a couple extra pieces, for lunch. I have one tomato slice left, for tomorrow. Thankfully, I can got to the Farmers Market on Saturday and get some more!
