This weekend has been nice and mellow. Kristen came over friday after work and stayed until 3:30 in the morning. We had gone Meijering, which is our local grocery store that is open 24hrs. Got us some Totinos pizza roles and watch MTV.
Sorry to interject here, but Sci-Fi has a Godzilla movie on! Saweeet! I love the old Godzilla movies.
Back to my weekend. I was up saturday by 7:30 and out the door by 8. I had to go to Wally World, they had my kitty litter on sale, then it was off to the elevator to get cat food! I also picked up two tomato plants, going to try to see if I can grow my own maters this year. Hit the local fruit and meat market and got some bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, ground round, and some eggs. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for dinner, it was a toss up between BLT's and spagetti. And I had neither. Stopped at the parental units house to see what they were doing, which was nothing since it was raining. I stopped at Lowe's to pick out some paint sample for the bathroom and Baby Girls bedroom. My sister in law wants to paint the BGs room pink, which I'm not a fan of pink, but it's not my house. Computer guy was here for about an hour, and then I took a nice two hour nap. As for dinner, I had scrambled hamburger with mushrooms...a favorite of mine, and SpongeBob SquarePants mac and cheese. Dessert was milk and mint Oreo cookies. All around a yummy dinner.
You know what I love about the Godzilla movies? The cheesy music. Godzilla is kicking the shit out of some creature, and there's some groovy music in the back ground that sounds like porno music.
Friday, I got Annie's cage, and so yesterday I set it up and put the babies in it. Tyson, Kriby, Lucifer come in and are checking them out, as the babies are doing to them. Well, Alani comes strutting in, and as soon as she sees the kids, starts hissing. I left them in there for five minutes, got the others out and then let the kids have free reign of the bedroom. It was so fun watching them explore and actually get to run. They had the best time playing under the bed. I let they stay out until it was time to go to bed, and by then, they had gone back into to closet. This morning, I let them out, and last time I checked they were sleeping under the bed with Boo. Tom is coming over this afternoon, and then we are heading up to see Denise and Rocky. I made my Citrus Cheesecake Pudding Pie, without the citrus, it's too over-powering, you lose the raspberry flavor.
There's another Godzilla movie on, Godzilla vs. Gigan. The guy has a man purse. He must be pretty strong in his manliness to 1) be in a Godzilla movie, 2) and wear a purse.
Just a short note about asshat. I have mentioned that I'm talking to him. He calls me Friday morning, and tells me he called me thursday night. LIE!!! Said that he was going to call me that evening, LIE!!! So, he hasn't changed. Now that is one of my biggest pet peeves, if you say you are going to to something, fucking do it. Even if you would have called and left a message that you were working later than expected, that's fine in my book. Fucker.
Okay, last tidbit. Has anyone seen that commercial for Gatorade and the guy who is doing the Hawaiian IronMan competition? The guy, is talking about how he was 50 meters from the finish line and his body was shutting down because he was so dehydrated? And they fucking show him stumbling around? That is one of the most sickening commercials I have ever seen. I cannot watch it. I literally start to do the dry heaves. Now, granted, I've only seen it once, but it has been burned into my brain and even if I look away, I remember! Bleh!
